For Winslow Township's (NJ) senior linebacker KaLial Glaud, it game down to a coin-toss. For three other South Jersey recruits (Logan Ryan (Eastern DB), Quron Pratt (Palmyra WR/DB) and Aaron Hayward (Penns Groves WR/RB/DB) - it's was Rutgers all along. For Irvington's (NJ) Joshua Evans, it was the obvious reason - A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

12/08/2008: Jersey recruit makes verbal pledge to Owls
In his final high school game, Wall Township's (NJ) FB Blaze Caponegro carried the ball 40 times for 347 yards and four scores. Those number didn't come against any slouches - just the 2008 Central Jersey Group II Champions Manasquan Blue Warriors. On the year the Shore Conference rushing champion piled-up 1,842 yards and now Caponegro has focused his attention on playing at the next level.
