09/17/2008: St. Aug.'s Laws: 7 touches and 4 scores.
St. Augustine Prep out of Atlantic County, New Jersey had Jack Crawford (now at Penn State) represent the school in the Class of 2008 and now you can add another top-notch player following in the same footsteps in junior Darnell Laws Jr. Laws and his teammates faced Cardinal Dougherty (Philadelphia, Pa.) this past weekend which resulted in a huge day for the running-back.

09/14/2008: NJ's TOP FB: Dashes for 246 yards
This past weekend Wall Township (Monmouth County, NJ) proved that there is indeed life after Tim Wright (now a freshman receiver at Rutgers). An all-around team effort was the key to Wall's 35-34 victory over Long Branch, but the states top fullback was the deciding factor displaying his skills as a tailback.

New Jersey and Pennsylvania are known for having their share of the nations premier high school football recruits, but what about the small state that borders both states. Delaware has been in the midst of recruiting the past couple of years but there has yet to be a recruit to represent the state like Concord High School's senior athlete Justin Brown (at left on the cover of the Phil Grosz G & W Report 2008 Preseason All American Issue).

07/28/2008: UPDATE: Peddie's Kenney verbals, Loper gets his first of many to come
The New Jersey Class of 2009 has a great deal of uncommitted and committed talent within it. Two of the Garden States top players are DB's David Kenney, at left (Peddie School) and Timber Creek's Eric Loper. Both recruits are rising seniors yet at different stages of recruiting: Kenney ending his status with a verbal and Loper launching his with his first offer.

07/27/2008: Langerhans: Bright, talented with a BIG FUTURE
Moorestown won a state title last fall and the 2008 senior class led by WR/DB Byran Burnham who has headed-off to Tulsa was spectacular on both sides of the ball. But coach Russ Horton's undefeated Group III State Champion Quakers had a great deal of assistance from a few of New Jersey's top recruits for the Class of 2009 led by 6-8, 315 pound two-way lineman Charles Langerhans.
