If a players first offers happen to come from the likes of Duke and Northwestern, it is safe to assume that the recruit is taking care of business within the boundaries of his classroom walls. Throw in the fact that schools like Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Boston College have all taken the same path, that would lead to the recruiting of a sensational student-athlete. That is the case for Long Branch High School's (Monmouth County, NJ) junior athlete Miles Shuler.
